SOUTH Essex-based solicitors Palmerslaw, which has offices in Thurrock, has announced the winner of its annual Christmas card competition, run in conjunction with Treetops School in Grays.

Treetops is a specialist school for pupils aged from three to 19 who have learning difficulties.

A statement from Palmerslaw said: "Once again, the children have come up with some wonderful cards and it was very difficult to choose the winners.

"This year's first prize goes to Lala Brookman. Runners up were Hassen Osman (2nd prize), Elijah Armitt (3rd prize) and Summer Lockey (4th prize)."
