STAFF from the Thurrock-based Griffin estate agency network came together today, Friday 25th September, for their annual Griffin Macmillan Coffee Morning, helping to raise vital funds for a cause that has touched the lives of many across the team.

The event was at Griffin's head office in the Queengate Centre, Grays, where staff prepare a spread of homemade cakes and savoury treats for everyone to enjoy.

Alongside the food, staff have also donated prizes for a raffle, adding to the fundraising fun and helping to boost the total raised for Macmillan Cancer Support. More than £130 has already been raised.

Group Managing Director Alan Webb took the opportunity to thank Griffin staff for their continued commitment, hard work and generosity in supporting the coffee morning and this important cause, which sadly, touched so many close to the firm this year.

Griffin has a long-standing commitment to supporting the local community through the Griffin Foundation Trust. Since 2013, the Foundation has donated more than £150,000 to local causes and charities, helping a wide range of organisations across the area.

In recent months alone, Griffin has supported Thurrock Rugby Football Club, Grays Run 2026, Grays Athletic and Clockhouse Bowling Club, among many other local causes.

And the fundraising doesn't stop there.

In November, Griffin will host its next Griffin Foundation Trust Ball, which will also celebrate 20 years of The Griffin Residential Group.

The team is hoping to raise another fantastic amount on the evening, allowing the Foundation to continue supporting the many local organisations, clubs and causes that make such a difference within the community.
