Updated: Major incident on A13. Car left road

EMERGENCY services have been dealing with a major incident on the A13 this evening (Friday, 6 March).
All emergency services attended.
An Essex County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said "Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the A13 Westbound at Orsett Cock to the Dock Approach Road at 6:08pm.
"On arrival, crews reported two cars were involved with one car in the embankment.
"Three crews worked to make the scene safe by 7:15pm."
Emergency service personnel were observed searching adjacent fields to the crash.
The driver of one of the cars involved was taken to hospital with her two children but says they are all recovering well. She add the cause of the accident was surface water which meant she lost control and verred off the road.
A statement from Essex Police said: "We were called to reports of a collision on the A13 near Orsett shortly after 6pm on Friday 6 March.
"Two vehicles were involved and one came to rest in a ditch.
"It is not believed anyone sustained serious injuries.
"The road re-opened at around 7.40pm.
