Man admits harassing woman and has to pay compensation

A NORTH Stifford man must pay compensation of £854.85 to a woman he admitted harassing.

Antony John Vinton, 34, of High Road, admitted harassing Linda Lencberga by following her to her place of work and messaging her.

He also admitted damaging her car.

A restraining order was issued on him by Basildon Magistrates' Court, instructing him not to approach his victim's home or place of work at intu Lakeside. He was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid community work over the next 12 months.
