Man admits having almost 2,000 indecent images of children

A TILBURY man has admitted seven charges of making and possessing almost 2,000 indecent images of children and of possessing other offensive pornography including images of people having sex with animals.

Andrew Paul Brand, 28, of Dickens Avenue, was granted bail on condition that he adheres to strict conditions relating to internet access.

He will appear for sentencing at Basildon Crown Court on Thursday, 30 January.
