Man injured in Grays assault - police plea for information

POLICE have appealed for information following an assault that happened in Conway Gardens in Grays at around 8pm last night (Tuesday, 20 April).

A statement from Essex Police says: "We attended and found a man in his 30s who had been attacked with an unknown sharp object and had sustained lacerations to his head and chest.

"He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
