BUS users across the borough are benefitting from new shelters being put up.

Work is currently underway to replace 46 shelters across the region.

A Thurrock Council spokesperson said: "Thurrock Council is replacing 46 bus shelters which will provide greatly improved seating and lighting for bus users.

"This is the first phase of a planned programme of bus shelter replacements across the borough.

"The shelters are supplied and installed by Clear Channel UK with whom the council has had a long partnership."
