It was reported members of the public found the victim, a man in his 30s, had been found injured in Feenan Highway shortly before 9.45pm yesterday (Sunday, 2 January).

He was taken to hospital where he is in a life-threatening condition.

Local reports say that he was stabbed multiple times but the police have not confirmed this.

A 19 year-old man from Tilbury was arrested just after midnight today (Monday, 3 January) on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody.

"In particular between the times of 6pm and 10pm.
