Mayor joins in tribute to pharmacist who has given 40 years of service to community

THURROCK'S mayor, Cllr Kairen Raper, was part of a celebration today (Tuesday, 13 August) which marked a pharmacist's 40 years of service to the community Aveley.

Among those present at the event to mark the milestone achieved by Mr Jitendrakumar Katechia of OHMS Pharmacy in Aveley was ward councillor Srikanth Panjala, who said: "We were honoured to witness Her Worshipful the Mayor present Mr Katechia with a well-deserved certificate of recognition.

"For 40 years, Mr Katechia has been a pillar of our community, consistently providing exceptional care with a joyful spirit, showing unwavering dedication to our community, characterised by his kindness and passion for service.

"It was a privilege to share this momentous occasion, marking Mr Katechia's remarkable achievement!"
