A PUBLIC consultation event on proposed changes to local health services will be held at The Beehive Centre on West Street in Grays (RM17 6XP) on Monday, 5 February from 6 to 7.30pm.

The Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board is hosting the meeting that will consider locations where the local hospitals trust provide some inpatient services for community hospital intermediate care and stroke rehabilitation, and freestanding midwife-led birthing services

The proposals have been developed by local clinical leaders and other health experts.

A statement from the Trust says: "We are asking local people to share their thoughts on these proposals before we decide what to do. We want to hear from as many people as possible and we will consider your responses carefully taking them into account when we're making decisions about these proposals.
