Men arrested at Basildon hospital

POLICE have reported two men were arrested this morning, Saturday 28 March on suspicion of attempted theft.

It follows a call at around 2.25am that men were seen to be breaking into a car park payment machine at Basildon Hospital. The two men aged in their 20s and 30s remain in custody.

A third man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of carrying a bladed weapon.
