More buses will be back on borough roads

THERE will be an increased number of buses running in Thurrock from tomorrow (Monday, 1 June) as coronavirus restrictions continue to be eased, but local operator Ensign Bus is still advising people not to make unnecessary journeys.

The company says: "This is only the beginning to a return to normal.

"As the situation improves we update our services to reflect the current ongoing situation. Our buses are there for people who need to use them."

Service amendments tomorrow include:

Route 22: Buses to operate every 30 minutes for most of the day Monday to Friday. We are operating separate timetables for Monday-Friday and reintroduction of a Saturday and Sunday Timetable

Route 33: Addition of PEAK hour journeys

Route 44: Additional Journeys Monday - Friday and reintroduction of a Saturday & Sunday timetable

[.B]Route 66: [.B]Additional Morning journey

Route 73: Introducing a limited number of Morning and evening Journeys Monday to Friday only.

Route 73A: A updated schedule is being introduced which includes reintroduction of a Saturday & Sunday timetable.
