LOCAL train users continue to be inconvenienced by problems with c2c rail ticket sales.

This morning (Saturday, 26 March) the company which operates services through seven stations in the borough on the Fenchurch Street line said it still has problems with its sales system, telling potential travellers: "Due to an on-going technical issue, you may not be able to buy tickets at station ticket offices. Please buy your tickets at the ticket machines, c2c app or website - and buy in advance wherever possible.

"We apologise for the inconvenience caused, whilst we resolve the issue."

Passengers have been quick to point out that the problem has now been going on for several days and have bemoaned the company's lack of technical expertise in sorting the issue out.
