Clean up team gather up a varied collection of dumped material in town park

A WIDE variety of items including a cooker, coffee maker and flat screen TV were among the fly-tipping debris cleared from a borough park this morning.

An area of Grays Town Park to the side of the town mosque had long been an eyesore but repeated calls to the council to clear it have fallen on deaf ears.

So this morning (Sunday, 27 March) volunteers cleared it and stacked it for collection by the council tomorrow.
