By Nub News Reporter 30th Jun 2026
VIOLENCE has once again flared up in what is becoming an increasingly troubled area of Grays.
Last Friday Thurrock Nub News reported on an extreme incident involving machetes and personal violence outside the Bull pub.
Graphic scenes of violence involving young men in the incident in a video have been viewed by more than 600,000 people and prompted an apology for a lack of control by the pub's management.
However, police were back on Dock Road last night (Monday, 29 June) and made six arrests after more clashes.
A statement from Essex Police says: "Six people have been arrested following a disturbance in Dock Road, Grays at around 10.10pm on Monday 29 June.
