Musical duo remembered at special concert

AVELEY and Newham Brass Band will play a Remembrance Day concert on Saturday, 12 November at St Nicholas Church, South Ockendon.
The concert will pay tribute to late members Derek Morris, a former chairman and bass player, and Jeff Selway, a former treasuerer and Flugelhorn player.
The concert will run from 7 to 9pm and tickets are £10 (concessions £8) and will be available on the door.
Refreshments will be served and a raffle held.
