Needles, chat and a social day down at the Wharf

THURROCK'S Needles and Chat social knitting group will be inviting local residents to join them at a special event in Grays on Saturday (11 June).

The group will host their annual 'knitting in public' open day at the Wharf pub on Wharf Road South from 10am to 3pm.

Organiser Susan Burns says: "Bring your needles and woool along for a fun social day. we look forward to seeing some new faces."
