AN application has been submitted to Thurrock Council to build a new home in the garden adjacent to an existing home on a Grays residential estate.

The plan is to create a three bedroom semi-detached home that will be joined to the existing building at 31 Elmway in Stifford Clays.

The applicants say the new home will be in keeping with the existing development and therefore is considered to be of acceptable form and scale.

The existing garden space at the front and rear garden will be shared between the existing and proposed dwellings. Boundary fences will be erected to preserve the privacy of both dwellings.

Full details of the application and the opportunity to comment can be found via this link.
