THURROCK'S Sea Cadets unit, TS Dragon, is looking for new recruits.

With the easing of lockdown restrictions it will not be long before the cadets are meeting again at their local HQ at the TRAAC Building on Fort Road, Tilbury (adjacent to the Tilbury ferry pontoon).

A spokesperson for the cadets said: "Here in Thurrock we offer skills and qualifications that could take you around the world.

"We create a safe, engaging and fun learning environment that will give you memories and friendships that will last a lifetime."

Meetings are: Sea Cadets (12-18years): Mondays and Thursdays, 7.15pm - 9.30pm;

Junior Cadets (10-12): Thursdays, 7.15pm - 9.30pm.
