New name and a refurbished new look for upgraded Peg Club. Its new life will start with a bang on 4 November

WORK is now close to completion on the regeneration of the former Pegasus Country Club in Corringham, which is now known as Wyldecrest Sports Country Club.

The building has undergone extensive renovation and the grounds have been upgraded.

An open day later this month will give potential new members the chance to have a look at the facilities.

It will take place on Friday, 28 October and will run from 2pm to midnight, featuring DJ Paul Lovett (from 8pm) and a barbecue.

And on Friday, 4 November, the club on Herd Lane will play host to a fireworks display, hosted by Joe Banana.

It will feature a fun fair, music, barbecue, stalls, sideshows and an outdoor bar.

Gates will open at 5pm, a bonfire will be lit at 8pm and the fireworks display will start at 8.15pm.

Tickets in advance will cost £7 and they can be ordered by contacting the club on email at [email protected] or bcalling 01375 672205.

On the night tickets will cost £8. A family ticket for two adults and two children is £20.
