THURROCK youngster Noah Mayers is continuing his NHS 999 challenge 'run-a-day' in his build-up to his ninth birthday on Saturday (30 May) and has already raised more than his target to give to NHS charities.

Thurrock Nub News caught up with Noah on the first day of his marathon stint when he has set himself a £300 target.

That crashed through the £1,000 barrier yesterday (Monday, 25 May) so we popped out again to catch up with him and dad Chris on the road.

You can donate to Noah's fundraising effort here.
