No police action after collision but call goes out for more info

DESPITE social media reports of a significant incident involving cars racing around Stanford-le-Hope town centre last night Sunday, 30 December) police say they are not taking any further action at present.

They have confirmed that a collision between vehicles occurred at about 7.15pm.

A statement says: "A collision involving two vehicles (a black BMW and a white Ford Fiesta), no injuries were reported and no reports have been made,

"Anyone with more information is asked to call 101 and quote incident 996 of 29 December."
