AN invitation has gone out to schools, colleges and educators across the borough to attend a promotional event at this year's Orsett Show.

They are being offered the opportunity to take part in the Education Zone Marquee at the Show on Saturday, 6 September 2025. 

The Education Zone celebrates and promotes education and training opportunities for all children and adults of Thurrock, and surrounding areas.

If you are an education and training establishment - this includes nurseries, schools, post-16 education, apprenticeship providers etc organisers would like to talk to you.

Sally Khawaja, who is co-ordinating the event, says: "This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your education, training, and apprenticeship offers to the local community — completely free of charge!

"All education and training providers across Thurrock and surrounding areas are welcome. You can set up your display on Friday, 5 September or early on the morning of the show. Displays must be taken down at the end of the day. 

"Two free entry passes and one car park permit will be provided for staff setting up and attending the show to interact with the public.
