Orsett Golf Clubs Veterans Association have spent the last year raising money for the local mental health charity, Thurrock & Brentwood MIND.

Through various events, including charity dinners, raffles, charity bunkers (Where players donate an amount of their choice if their ball finds its way into a specific bunker on the course) and holding a Vets Open where 96 players from other clubs applied to play at Orsett GC (The Orsett Vets run the day on a volunteer basis).

 The sum of £2,581.20 has been raised and will go towards supporting individual and group counselling services.

Orsett Vets Captain David Pavitt is pictured presenting the donation to Donna Marshall from TBMind, at Orsett Golf Club, accompanied by some of the other members of the Orsett Vets dressed in their Aqua Blue team shirts.
