THE passport of an Orsett man has been seized by police as he awaits trial on two serious charges.

John Dady, 52, of Sandown Road, will appear at Basildon Crown Court on Thursday, 30 January where he is charged with having possession of cocaine with intention to supply.

A jury will also be asked to decide on a charge that Dady, in Grays in July last year, used or had possession of criminal property consisting of £17,000 in cash and a high valued watch.

He was released on bail on condition that he lives and sleeps at his Orsett home and cannot attempt to apply for foreign travel.
