Petition launched calling for 'justice for Norman Bullock' in wake of lenient sentence

By Neil Speight 23rd Dec 2020

IN the wake of public outrage about the lenient sentence offered to the man who drove the stolen car that killed popular Thurrock taxi driver Norman Bullock, a petition has been launched calling for the government to reexamine the sentence.

Yesterday Thurrock Nub news reported on the sentencing of 22 year-old Edvinas Pupkis.

And today (Wednesday, 23 December) we reflected the many local concerns that Judge Ian Graham had been too lenient in putting Pupkis behind bars for just two and a half years.

Now a petition has been launched on the government website 'Change.org' calling for 'justice for Norman Bullock'.

The petition was started this afternoon by Mark Boyden who says: "This is not justice for his family"
