Pig on the loose!

MOTORISTS on Fort Road near Tilbury have been alerted to a large pig that is running free by the side of the road.

Officers from the Port of Tilbury Police attended the area and took pictures of the animal around 3.30pm today (Monday, 12 August).

However, they could do little more and left the area after shepherding it into a field near the Tilbury Water Treatment plant, though it returned to the road soon after.
