Police anti-drugs action ends with man in custody

POLICE executed a warrant at an address in Heathlyn Close, Chadwell St Mary, this morning (Tuesday, 20 January) in connection with an investigation into county-wide drug supply ring.
A statement from Essex Police said: "At the address we recovered a bladed article, several mobile devices and more than £3,800 in cash.
"One man, a 29-year-old from Chadwell St Mary, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, being concerned in the supply of a controlled substance and possession of a bladed article. He was taken into custody.
"Our enquiries are ongoing."
