Police appeal after group of men confront driver in Grays

POLICE officers in Grays are appealing for information following an assault in London Road on Sunday (26 April).
It was reported five people got out of a blue Ford EcoSport at around 5pm and approached another vehicle. The incident happened close to the Aldi store.
One of the group then punched a man sitting in that vehicle a number of times.
A police statement says: "This is a busy road and we believe there will be people who saw what happened and also who have footage of it and we need them to come forward.
