Police appeal for information after early morning crash leads to young man's death on East Tilbury rural road

A TEENAGER has died following a collision in East Tilbury in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 3 August).

Police were called to reports a black Peugeot 107 had left Princess Margaret Road at around 1.35am.

Emergency services attended but, sadly, the – a 20 year-old man – was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed so officers could investigate but it has now re-opened.

An Essex Police appeal says: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us. Please quote incident 80 of 3 August.
