Police ask for information after attack on ambulance

POLICE probing an attack on an ambulance in the East Tilbury area have asked local residents who might have any information to contact them.

The incident happened on Sunday (14 February) when police officers responded to reports of damage caused to an ambulance on Princess Margaret Road, shortly after 6 30pm.

An unknown object was thrown at the vehicle as the ambulance was in transit, cracking the window. A group of individuals were then seen running from the scene. Police enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has further information is asked to submit a report online Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
