Police call for help in wake of East Tilbury assault

POLICE officers investigating an assault in East Tilbury are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam or other footage to get in touch.

A statement from the Essex force says: "We were called to reports of an incident in Princess Margaret Road at 10pm yesterday (10 April).

"It was reported that a man had been assaulted, and it was also further reported that a car was used in the incident.

"The victim sustained minor injuries.

"If you have any information or footage, then please get in contact with us and quote reference number 1222 of 10 April.
