POLICE have renewed an appeal for information about an ongoing investigation into a firearm offence in South Ockenden.

At about 7.15pm on Wednesday, 11 April, officers were called to reports of a firearm being shot in Afton Drive.

A statement issued today (Wednesday, 19 July) says: "We have carried out an extensive investigation and now believe someone may have captured the incident on camera, and we are appealing for them to come forward.

"We have also recovered a blank ammunition round from the scene.

"If you have any information, CCTV or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us, quoting 42/66523/23 on Tuesday 11 April.
