Florence Sommerville is a singer songwriter and her debut EP launch will be at the Old Regent Ballroom in Stanford on Friday.

Also on Friday there will be a literary event in Grays - but it's not just about words. It will be about the amazing journey as a firefighter for local man Leigh Hosy-Pickett.
