Police call for witnesses in appeal after death of man involved in South Ockendon crash

POLICE have renewed an appeal for information after a fatal crash in South Ockendon last month.
The incident happened in Cruick Avenue on Saturday, 18 April when a motorbike rider was rushed to hospital after a crash. He later died in hospital, prompting a statement from Essex Police.
It says: "Can you help us? We are appealing for any information about a fatal collision involving a motorcycle on Cruick Avenue at about 6.10pm.
"Sadly the motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40's died later in hospital. His family are being supported by our officers and our enquiries are ongoing.
"We are appealing for any witnesses, doorbell or dashcam footage relating to this incident. Please get in touch quoting incident 1139 of Saturday 18 April.
