Police close off services while accident is dealt with

THE eastbound services on the A13 just past the Orsett Cock junction were closed down by police this morning for a short while to allow recovery of vehicles involved in an accident on the site.
Police and ambulance officers attended the scene and Police said: "A collision involving a van and an HGV happened at around 10.25am today.
"There didn't appear to be any injuries and there were no arrests."
Closure of the services lasted until around noon.
