Police issue appeal as probe continues into pub incident that left woman with serious injuries

POLICE investigating an incident in a Grays pub in May have made a belated appeal for information after a woman suffered life-changing injuries.
It happened on Saturday, 23 May in the car park of the Bull pub on Dock Road.
A grey Ford Ranger pick up was involved in a collision with a 29-year-old woman in the car park in Dock Road before the vehicle left the scene.
Eleesha was treated at the scene given gas and air and taken to Basildon hospital By Ambulance.
She spent 26 days in hospital with multiple fractures to her pelvis and spine and now has to use a wheelchair.
A statement from Essex Police says: "We have launched an investigation and want to hear from anyone who has not already spoken to the police.

The family of the injured woman say they have made police aware of who the driver of the vehicle was, and her father has been highly critical of delays in the investigation, saying his daughter's life has been ruined, the family put through intolerable distress and they beieve the police have acted in a timely or prudent manner.
