Police probe into Grays death continues

DETECTIVES investigating the death of a woman in Grays are continuing their enquiries

A statement says: "We had been called to an address in Lenmore Avenue shortly after 5pm on Monday, 21 June to reports a woman in her 80s had been found unresponsive.

"Sadly, she died at the scene.

"A 60 year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder.

"She and the victim are known to each other.

""A forensic post-mortem examination was carried out but further tests are needed to determine a cause of death.
