Police probe motorbike crash after air ambulance lands in Grays

POLICE are hoping witnesses will come forward after a collision in Grays this afternoon (Sunday, 5 April) which saw the air ambulance land.

Police were called shortly before 2.15pm after reports of a collision involving a motorbike and a Volkswagen Polo in Lewes Close, Grays.

The air ambulance landed in Kilverts Field and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital.

Police say enquiries remain ongoing. Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting incident 486 of Sunday 5 April.
