Police renew appeal for missing man whose absence from home is causing concern

POLICE officers looking for Stuart Flitt, who's missing from Tilbury have released a second image of the man who is missing from home and are asking anyone who has seen him or knows his location to call 999.

It shows him taken when he was last seen.

Stuart, 41, was last seen in the Library in Civic Square, Tilbury around 12.40pm on Tuesday (16 June) and the new image is from CCTV in that area.

A police statement says: "We have been carrying out enquiries to locate him since he was reported missing to us and we believe he may have travelled to Basildon Town Centre around 4pm on Tuesday.

"Stuart is 6ft tall and was last known to be wearing dark-coloured jogging bottoms and a navy t-shirt.

"If you've seen him, are with him, or have any information about where he is please call 999."
