POLICE officers investigating a theft of hundreds of pounds worth of goods from a sports shop in West Thurrock have released an image of a man they want to speak to.

The theft happened at the Sports Direct shop in Weston Avenue at around 11.20am on Thursday, 11 June.

A police statement says: "If you recognise this man we need you to come forward.

"If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us quoting the crime reference number 42/90998/26.
