Police seek suspect after racial crime incident at Lakeside

POLICE have issued a CCTV picture, alongside an appeal for help in trying to find a suspect who carried out a racially aggravated hate crime in Thurrock.
A statement from the force says: "We received reports of a man in his 20s being racially abused in a B&Q store in Lakeside on 22 July 2025 before the suspect left the scene.
"Our officers have reviewed CCTV and pursued several lines of enquiry, and are now appealing for the public's help in identifying the suspect in this investigation.
