Police seek witnesses to collision near level crossing that left man injured

POLICE are investigating a collision that left a motorcyclist seriously injured last month and are appealing for witnesses who saw what happened.

A white motorbike and a white BMW X5 were in collision near the level crossing in Station Road, East Tilbury, at 3.45pm on Wednesday, 23 June.

The rider, a 47-year-old man from Grays, suffered injuries to his collar bone, shoulder, leg and ribs.

A police statement says: "We are continuing our enquiries into how the collision happened and are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, or has any dash cam footage.

"Please contact Chigwell Roads Policing Unit quoting incident number 884 of 23 June.
