Police turn out to deal with dog fight inside homes complex

POLICE officers, wearing protective equipment and using shields, dealt with an incident in Corringham last evening (Wednesday, 5 March) where two dogs were fighting inside a residential complex.

It happened at the Freeman Court sheletered housing complex.

A statement from Essex Police says: "We attended an incident at Freeman Court shortly after 5.30pm and found two dogs had been fighting.

"Thankfully there were no injuries to anyone present at the scene. Both dogs were safely detained and were left in veterinary care.

"No criminal offences were identified."
