Popular community litter picks return to South Ockendon's Bonnygate Park

By Neil Speight 8th Sep 2020

A GROUP committed to litter picking at Bonnygate Park on the first Saturday of each month throughout 2020 has now recommenced its activites.

The litter picks had been cancelled in the wake of the COVID 19 Pandemic but organisers are pleased to say they have now recommenced activities.

A spokesperson said: "We'd love to see you at one of our upcoming Community Litter Picks, here are the dates for the rest of the year - including our Great British Spring Clean event this coming weekend.

"We have even created a specific Facebook event.

"Everyone's welcome, together we can transform our park and open space."
