Port pays tribute to its quay women workers

By Neil Speight   8th Mar 2021

THE Port of Tilbury has marked International Women's Day today (Monday, 8 March) with the release of a video highlighting the work of women within the Forth Ports group.

Several of the many women who play key roles within the borough port - and sister port Tilbury2 - are highlighted in the short film.

The port adds: "On today's International Women's Day a shout out all Women in Maritime and Women in Logistics.

"We also thank all our quay workers across all our ports who have worked continuously throughout the pandemic to ensure food, medicines and products flow smoothly through our ports."
