Praise for volunteers at borough Foodbank

VOLUNTEERS from the DP World London Gateway sites on the Thames at Corringham have been thanked for their efforts to help borough people in need.

Sandra Sawle, business co-ordinaries based at the Foodbank centre in Corringham took to social media to express her thanks.

She says: "Thank you DP World for packing and wrapping 87 hampers at the Thurrock Foodbank last week.

"Many local people will have a much nicer Christmas thanks to you all."
