INDUSTRIAL giant Procter and Gamble has submitted plans for its site at West Thurrock where it wants to install new plant and ancillary equipment.

The works are proposed on part of the plant known as 'Southfield', referring to the rectangular parcel of land to the south of the recently-constructed Beads Making Wave production building.

The plant equipment will enable the operation of the laundry beads production located in the Beads Making Wave production building.

The plant comprises a carbon filter bund, pipe bridge, water systems, dust control system and air and nitrogen vessels as well as ancillary works.

Full details of the application can be found here: https://regs.thurrock.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=SANKFYQGM0200
