Borough residents are being invited to partake in a local health watchdog's survey focussing on dementia.

Healthwatch Thurrock, the independent champion for people who use health and social care services in Thurrock, is looking into how people can live well with dementia in the borough community.

The survey focus is on understanding what support is already available, what improvements residents would like to see, and working together to reduce the stigma surrounding dementia.

Healthwatch team leader Caitlin Smith says: "We'd love to hear your thoughts by answering two quick questions.

"You can share your responses by emailing us at [email protected] or by giving us a call on 01375 389 883.

"We're also looking to involve anyone interested in our broader initiative to make Thurrock a dementia-friendly community.

"Be in for a chance to win a £25 voucher for a supermarket of your choice! Please get in touch by the links above."
