Radio extravaganza will be boost for borough charity

By Neil Speight 13th Feb 2021

THURROCK residents and music-lovers from further afield are being asked to support a borough mental health charity this weekend.

On Saturday, 13 February the Grays-based Thames Delta Radio will be hosting an eleven hour event featuring many top DJs - with listeners invited to show their appreciation by donation to Thurrock & Brentwood Mind online.

The Freedom of the Mind event will be a zoomparty where audiences can join in on screen from their homes and phones. In the video with this story, women's confidence coach Lisa Hawkyard explains what it is all about and what a difference you can make by helping out.

They include Joanne Harper, Leon C, Liz Rolley, Electronic Youth, Clair L, Lee Capone, Emsec & Secker, Lee Rees, Kacy White, Tiddsy, B2B and Marc Bunn.

Free tickets are available from Eventbrite here.

The event has been organised by Joanne Harper and you can make donations via this link.
